Welcome to Sage School!
Sage is a school specializing in working with Dyslexia / Dysgraphia / Dyscalculia and Language based differences. Admissions to Sage School is a two-way street. While prospective families learn about Sage, we learn about your child and the way they think and learn. Our mutual goal is to help students attain their innate, God-given abilities to succeed. We look forward to spending time learning about your child, and how Sage can transform their education, while Unleashing Potential!
Whether your child struggles with reading, writing, math, or language-based difficulties, our teachers at Sage are equipped to help your child become an independent and confident learner. Our teachers are trained in Orton-Gillingham diagnostic and prescriptive approach to structured language. We utilize the tenants of O-G in each class they attend.
Your child will receive a solid language and curriculum foundation to succeed in their next academic setting. We celebrate graduation from Sage!
Once you have a feel for Sage from our website, please take a moment to fill out the form to Contact Us. This will allow us to call you with some working knowledge of your child, and to schedule a tour.
The 3-step admissions process gathers information and data needed to determine whether Sage is the best fit for the applicant.
Step 1: Parent Tour and Meeting
We invite parents to visit Sage for a tour. This is the best way for parents to understand that at Sage each child is treated as an individual and experience our learning environment. Your visit to Sage will include a tour of the facility and a meeting with the admissions director.
**Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Sage School Campus is closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
Step 2: Application Online
The school must receive the items listed below before moving forward with Step 3 in the admissions process. A completed file including all school records, references and psychological report(s).
Step 3: Shadowing
If your child’s application suggests a likely fit, a shadowing day will be scheduled. In some cases, two days of shadowing might be required. This allows the student to become familiar with Sage’s faculty and staff, meet other students and experience the learning environment. After shadowing is completed, parents will be notified of the Admissions Committee decision on enrollment.
Sage School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
